Shabad Gayan contest held

Ludhiana: GMT International Public School New Vishal Nagar, Kakowal Road organised Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Shabad Gayan Competition 2018 in school campus. Six teams participated enthusiastically in this competition.

Ludhiana: GMT International Public School New Vishal Nagar, Kakowal Road organised Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Shabad Gayan Competition 2018 in school campus. Six teams participated enthusiastically in this competition. Damandeep Kaur, Jasdeep Singh, Raj Kumar Sehgal were the judges of this competition. In this competition Guru Nanak International Public School got First Position, Green Land Convent School New Subhash Nagar got the second position, Green Land Convent School Sector 32 got the third position. Green Land Senior Secondary Public School Jalandhar bypass and Darshan Academy were given appreciation awards. Surinder Kaur Thind and principal Amarjit Dhaliwal congratulated all the teams for their participation.

World AIDS Day observed

World AIDS Day was observed at Ram Lal Bhasin Public School. He dedicated this day to raising awareness of the AIDS  caused by the spread of HIV infection. Students tagged Red Cross on their shirts and Poster-making competition was conducted. Students were made aware about this disease.

Sant Ishar Singh Ji Memorial

On the occasion of world AIDS Day, the teachers and students of Class IX of Sant Ishar Singh Ji Memorial Public School, Karamsar (Rara Sahib) took out a rally to create awareness about AIDS among the people of Ahmedgarh and its surrounding chhapar and Jandali village. Principal of the school Dr Dhiraj Kumar Thapliyal flagged off the rally. The students marched through the lanes of the villages with banners and slogans. They also distributed pamphlets and magazines among the people to make them aware about myths related to HIV and AIDS, its prevention and hygiene. The rally received huge response from the people of the area and they appreciated the efforts taken by the school.
