Senior citizen dies in mishap

A man about 75 years of age was killed when the car in which he was travelling collided with a truck on Pakhowal Road around 6 am today. The victim, Pritam Singh, was a resident of Rajgarh village.

According to the Sadar police, a truck coming from the Durgi side rammed an I20 car while avoiding a head-on collision with a speeding Alto car on Pakhowal Road. The occupant of the I 20 car, Pritam Singh, died at the DMCH. He was on the way to a hospital to get his dialysis done.

A case under Section 304 of the IPC has been registered by Sadar Police.
