Schools make kids feel special on Children’s Day

Children Day’s was celebrated with great enthusiasm in various schools today. Several activities were organised to commemorate the day.

A range of innovative and fun-filled cultural programme was organised at Manav Rachna International School. Students were apprised of the facts related to the day and while remembering Chacha Nehru, they took a pledge of being more responsible, caring and loving human beings. The teachers performed various group songs and dances which included songs on children and childhood to motivate children. The tiny tots danced, played fun games and enjoyed their day in specially-decorated classrooms.

A puppet show was organised for the little ones and children were mesmerised. The pre-primary children were shown English movie “Rupanzel” the juniors watched “Tin-Tin Adventures” and the middle school watched “I am Kalam”. Children were treated with chocolates to fill the day with more delight and happiness.

To celebrate the day, children came in fancy dresses and presented dance and also gave speeches related to this day at St Soldier’s Divine Public School, Hambran Road.

Various activities were also organised at GMT Public School, Jalandhar Bypass, and students were inspired through the example of our first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

Police DAV Public School, Police Line celebrated the day with great pomp and show. Various activities such as colouring on the theme Swachh Bharat, ‘ad mad’ show, and story-telling competition were held. They enjoyed by reciting rhymes related to Chacha Nehru.
