The latest flick, ‘Saab Bahadar’, starring Ammy Virk in the titular role, is a mystery thriller movie of the Punjabi film industry. The star cast of the film was in the city today. The film is presented by Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Singh Sidhu and Zee Studios.

‘Saab Bahadar’ also stars Jaswinder Bhalla and Kamal Preet in the lead roles. The film promises a thrilling experience in an industry that is famous for its comedy productions.

Virk, who will be seen in a new action, and thrill-packed avatar in the film said, “I have worked in both comedy and romantic films. I am excited to be a part of this mystery film of the Punjabi cinema. It is always thrilling to attempt something new and it feels great when your efforts are awarded positively.”

He said, “I will request all my fans to watch ‘Saab Bahadar’ as it will open doors for more experiments with stories in our home industry.”

Jaswinder Bhalla said, “Saab Bahadar promises to be a mix of suspense, fear, comedy and romance. The trailer of the film is amazing and full of mystery that will surely be liked by the people. This time the producers have done something different and we hope that our efforts will be liked by the audience.”

The producers of the film said, “We have ‘Jatt and Juliet’ and ‘Sardarji’ franchise under our banner. We also produced ‘Punjab 1984’. This time we wanted to experiment with a new genre.”

They said, “Jass Grewal’s story provided us with the right opportunity to venture into a new type of storyline. ‘Saab Bahadar’ is first of its kind Punjabi film and we will like the audience to accept it just like they have done to our previous attempts.”

The songs of the film have been sung by Virk, Nachhatar Gill and Sunidhi Chauhan. The other cast comprises Rana Ranbir, Seema Kaushal and Hobby Dhaliwal.
