Ludhiana, January 22

A team of the National Human Rights Commission visited the local MC office to collect information about the demolition of a structure belonging to Youth Akali leader Gurdeep Singh Gosha’s brother.

A day after Gosha had blackened the statue of former PM Rajiv Gandhi, the MC had taken action against an illegal building under construction at Bhadaur House on December 26. Gosha had blamed the MC authorities for targeting the building on the instructions of Congress leaders. Gosha had filed a complaint to the commission. TNS
