LUDHIANA: Northern Railway will run another special train, 08427/28 Puri-Amritsar-Puri Express, for devotees intending to visit Sultanpur Lodhi for the 550th anniversary celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev.

Northern Railway will run another special train, 08427/28 Puri-Amritsar-Puri Express, for devotees intending to visit Sultanpur Lodhi for the 550th anniversary celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev. The train will make a single trip, from Puri on November 9 and from Amritsar on November 12.

The Railways has already announced 15 pairs of special trains to provide connectivity to Sultanpur Lodhi from various places in Punjab and other states for Parkash Purb.

The Puri-Amritsar Express special train (08427) will depart from Puri at 11.35 pm on Saturday to reach Amritsar at 11.30 pm on Monday. In the return journey, 08428 Amritsar-Puri express special train will depart from Amritsar at 11.45 pm on Tuesday (November 12) to reach Puri at 10.30 pm on Thursday.

During its run from Puri to Amritsar, the special train will have a 10-minute stoppage in Ludhiana from 8.25 pm to 8.35 pm (on Monday) while on its return trip, the train will stop for 10 minutes in Ludhiana from 2.10 am to 2.20 am (on Wednesday).

Comprising of two AC-3 tier, five sleeper class, 11 general class and two second class-cum-luggage van coaches, the special train will stop at Khurda Road, Bhubhneswar, Naraj Marthapur, Dhenkanel, Angul, Rairakhol, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlagarh, Kantabanji, Khairaroad, Raipur, Bhatapara, Usalapur, Anuppur, Shahdol, Katni Murwara, Saugor, Agasod, Jhansi, Agra Cant, New Delhi, Ambala and Ludhiana stations en route in both directions.
