Ludhiana: An inter-branch patriotic group song competition was hosted by BVM, Chandigarh Road. A energetic dance performance by students attired in the tricolour kept the flame of patriotism alive. Harpreet, student of Class XI, gave an emotional performance on Bhagat Singh. Team from Kitchlu Nagar branch clinched first position and team from Udham Singh Nagar branch came second.

World Photography Day celebrated

World Photography Day was celebrated at BCM School, Basant Avenue. Students were introduced to the basics of camera and photography. Photographs clicked by stdudents were displayed on the campus.

Session on stress management

A session on stress management for its teachers was organised at Police DAV Public School, Civil Lines. The speaker for the day was Naveen Sabharwal. He made teachers aware about differences between stress and depression. He also discussed mental and physical health, and encouraged the staff members to adopt positive thinking.Principal Anu Verma thanked the speaker for the session. 

Role-play Activity

A role play activity for students of Class II and patriotic group song competition for Class I was organised at DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road. Around 200 students participated in the art of creative expression and played the role of Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Rani Lakshmi Bai, amomg othets. Patriotic songs sung by students filled the audience with great patriotism.

Show and tell competition

To improve communication and descriptive skills of students of LKG, a show and tell competition was organised at BCM Kindergarten, Chandigarh Road.. Kids exhibited their confidence and articulation skills on various topics The audience comprised parents of the participants.Winners of the competition were awarded with certificates and books. TNS
