No seal broken at Grand Manor Homes, says MC official

Two days after sealing the gates of Grand Manor Homes on Gill Road, an MC official inspected the project site today. Assistant Town Planner of Zone C Harwinder Singh Honey said no seal had been broken at the site. “A building inspector visited the project site today. He found no violation as the seal on both gates was still there,” he said.

However, the managing director of Grand Manor Homes, Baljinder Singh Kahlon, on Sunday claimed that the civic body had not sealed the project site gates and work at the site was under way. He had also stated that they didn’t violate any law.

The MC officials claimed to have sealed two gates on Saturday. Earlier in July 2018, the Local Government Department had ordered to stop construction at the site. The Aam Aadmi Party had raised the case of Ludhiana CLU scam in the Vidhan Sabha last month.
