Kavi darbar marks Parkash Purb

LUDHIANA:The literary and social organisations Kavita Kala Karvaan (KKK) and Charhdi Kala (CK), jointly organised a kavi darbar dedicated to the 550th Parkash Divas of Guru Nanak Dev, wherein the renowned regional poets presented poems on the teachings and rich philosophy of Guru Nanak Dev.

The literary and social organisations Kavita Kala Karvaan (KKK) and Charhdi Kala (CK), jointly organised a kavi darbar dedicated to the 550th Parkash Divas of Guru Nanak Dev, wherein the renowned regional poets presented poems on the teachings and rich philosophy of Guru Nanak Dev. As per its mission, the KKK provided a platform to the budding writers and poets on the occasion. 

The chief guest of the event and known Punjabi poet Trailochan Lochi remarked that the literary organisations and literatuers should endeavor to connect the new generation with creativity of expression for social concerns. Appreciating the efforts of KKK and CK in this context, he congratulated its team members. 

Jaspreet Kaur Falak, a professor said Guru Nanak Dev propagated the message of righteous living by travelling to different places in all directions. He spread the message of following the logic in accepting or performing anything. She also spoke on the poetic expression of Guru Nanak Dev to convey his point. 

The participating poets enthralled the audience with their beautifully composed poems on the glory of Guru Nanak Dev and his messages. — TNS
