Ludhiana, October 4

Vardhman Group and the Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd, have joined hands to provide students an opportunity to gain insight into the working of industries.

Vardhman Special Steel Limited, Ludhiana, hosted an educational trip aimed at encouraging students to develop an understanding of work-roles in enterprises. The project, EKLAVYA – Energetic Knowledgeable Leader and Valued Youth Ambition, is an initiative taken by the group to provide first-hand knowledge of industrial processes to students.

A group of 50 girls from the college visited Vardhman Special Steel Limited to learn about career opportunities and possibilities in the corporate world and inculcate an entrepreneurial spirit.

The project is a learning-based initiative focusing on the United Nation’s fourth sustainable development goal- Quality Education. Under this project, one-day exposure tours are organised regularly wherein students will be given an opportunity to visit and gain insight into the operations at Vardhman Special Steel Limited and Vardhman Textiles Limited. This project is designed to promote experience-based learning for India’s young dreamers and pave the path for future visionaries and entrepreneurs to closely observe the undertakings of industry.
