BA Semester-IV results

Ludhiana: Students of Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, Gujarkhan Campus, Model Town, have performed brilliantly in BA Sem-IV examinations, results of which were announced by Panjab University, Chandigarh, recently.

Ludhiana: Students of Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, Gujarkhan Campus, Model Town, have performed brilliantly in BA Sem-IV examinations, results of which were announced by Panjab University, Chandigarh, recently.  Niharika Dev stood seventh in the university and first in the college with 84.68% marks. Mansimran Kaur scored 82.55%  marks and secured ninth position in the university and second in the college.

Arya College for Girls

Students of Arya College Girls have excelled in the BA Sem-IV examinations. Anchal Bhardwaj topped the university with 90.92% marks. Nisha bagged third position with 86.80% marks. Priyanka bagged seventh position, while Sakshi secured 13th position in the merit list. 

BSc Semester-II results

Students of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, have shown excellent results in BSc (Hons) biotechnology Sem-II examinations, results of which were announced by Panjab University, Chandigarh, recently. Sahibleen Kaur secured fourth position in the university by securing 428/500 marks. Overall result of the college is 100 per cent, with students bagging six positions in the district.

Arya College adopts village

Students of Arya College has adopted Baloke village of Ludhiana for a swachhta campaign under the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghathan. Under this drive, volunteers need to devote a minimum of 50 hours of swacchta from July 20 to 25. This drive is oriented to towards promoting cleanliness and awareness among village folks. The volunteers, along with villagers, will conduct various activities such as door to door meetings generating awareness regarding health, hygiene and cleanliness.

Workshop on English grammar

A seven-day workshop on nuances of English grammar concluded at Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines. Department of English organised the workshop with the objective to revise and polish English grammar skills of students. The comprehensive sessions included independent modules such as parts of speech, verb, tenses, voice, narration and sentence structure. The workshop also focused on the main elements of sentence structure to help the students develop skills required for academic writing. TNS
