Inner Wheel launches Asha Kiran for women

LUDHIANA: In order to to uplift the less privileged ones in the society, the Inner Wheel Club of Ludhiana has launched project “Asha Kiran” which targets to train women different skills to make them financially independent.

In order to to uplift the less privileged ones in the society, the Inner Wheel Club of Ludhiana has launched project “Asha Kiran” which targets to train women different skills to make them financially independent.

Under the project, the club has decided to start beauty training centre which will be overseen by an expert. The project would be held in association with Sacha Ashram, Chander Nagar, Ludhiana, who donated three air-conditioned rooms for the training purpose.

The certified course would be for three months and enable women to find a suitable job.

It is pertinent to mention that the Inner Wheel Club was successfully running “Nirdosh”, a school for mentally challenged in Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana, since the past 42 years.

Praveen Narang, project director said, “After a lot of research, we have zeroed down on this area. We have found that there are many candidates for learning this art.”
