7,321 register for SCD College admission

The admission process for the three government colleges — Government College for Girls (GCG), SCD Government College and Government College (East) — is on. The process for the admission is online.

The last date for getting registered online for GCG is June 29. From July 1 to 4, time will be given for making corrections in the forms. A tentative rank list will be out on July 1 while the final rank list will be displayed on July 5. Counselling will start from July 8. Till Monday, 4,305 students had registered themselves for admission in GCG under various courses.

Principal Savita Sharma said those students who had committed errors during the filing of the forms could make corrections from July 1-4, so they need not worry about it.

The last date for getting registered online for SCD is June 28. The tentative merit list will be out on June 29 while the final merit list will be displayed on July 4. The counselling schedule will be updated on the college website on a daily basis.

Till today, 7,321 students have registered themselves for admission in SCD College under various UG and PG courses.

The last date for getting registered online for Government College East is June 28. The date for displaying the merit list will be announced later and the counselling schedule will be updated on the college website on a daily basis.

Till today, 59 students have registered themselves for admission in BA Semester -I at Government College East.

This will be the second session of the college and like the first session, students will be able to get admission in only Bachelor of Arts (BA) and there are 70 seats for the same.

Dr Dharam Singh Sandhu, Principal of SCD Government College and Government College (East), said the date for displaying the merit list of Government College (East) would be announced later while all the details for SCD Government College would be displayed online.

Besides, June 29 is the last date for registration for Government College for Girls (helplinegcgldh@gmail.com; June 28 for SCD Govt College (scdldhhelp@gmail.com; and June 28 for Govt College (East) (gcldheast@gmail.com)
