SNID event inaugurated

Sub-National Immunisation Day (SNID) round was inaugurated on Sunday by the Civil Surgeon Dr Parvinder Pal Singh Sidhu at Sarabha Nagar Dispensary. Dr Jasbir Singh, Deputy Director, along with members of Rotary Club were also present on the occasion. Dr Sidhu said that no child should be left without polio drops to eliminate the disease.

Dr Rajinder Gulati, Officiating District Immunisation Officer, Ludhiana, further requested the people to cooperate with the teams so that the round can be made a success.

Fire safety week ends at DMCH

For the first time, ‘fire safety week’ was continuously observed in different buildings and premises of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital. On the last day, Dr Sanjeev Uppal (Chairman, DMCH Disaster Task Force) gave a presentation to students of College of Nursing, informing them about various aspects of fire accidents its preventive measures. Students and faculty of the College of Nursing were also guided to use various types of fire extinguishers, incase of fire accident.
