Students of different schools in and around Ludhiana educated people to come out and  exercise their right to franchise in a democracy by holding different campaigns. 

Ryanites highlight significance of voting

Class XI and XII students of Ryan International School carried out a campaign to encourage people to exercise their right to vote. They acquainted people with the significance of a vote and their role in a democracy.

BVM students hold awareness campaign

Students of BVM School, Chandigarh Road, held a voter awareness campaign. They urged voters to cast their votes wisely. Students assembled at Vardhman Chowk with placards and banners.They raised slogans, disseminating the information on the importance of casting a vote.

Jesus Saviour’s School, Khamano hold street play

A street play was staged by students of Jesus Saviour’s School, Khamano, on behalf of electoral club, headed by Madhu Kaur, during the parent-teacher meet. The students made parents aware of the importance of casting vote. Chairman Joy Kutty and Principal Binoy PK congratulated the performers.
