Gujranwala Guru Nanak Public School, Rose Garden, organised a felicitation ceremony to felicitate students who passed with flying colours in their Class X and XII board exams.

The gala celebrations began with the recital of their school shabad. Principal Gunmeet Kaur welcomed the dignitaries from Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council and briefed the guests about the academic achievements of the school.

They also announced that the students who had scored 90% marks and above could seek admission in sister institutions run by Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council for the academic session 2019-20 and will be awarded a scholarship of Rs 25,000 each. Student with 80% marks and above will be awarded a scholarship of Rs 20,000, while students who secured 75% marks and above will be given a scholarship of Rs 7,500. It was also announced that rest of the students will be given a scholarship of Rs 5,000.

Teachers were also honoured during the programme for producing excellent board results. Former Vice-Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University and general secretary of GKEC, Dr SP Singh, congratulated the prodigies and their parents for bringing laurels to the school and inspired them to continue working hard to embrace success in their future ventures too.
