320 girls conferred degree at Ramgarhia College

LUDHIANA: Ramgarhia Girls College organised its annual convocation and prize distribution function in which as many as 320 students were conferred degrees.

Ramgarhia Girls College organised its annual convocation and prize distribution function in which as many as 320 students were conferred degrees. Prizes were also given to students who had excelled in academics, sports and cultural activities.

The chief guest of the event was Prof Dr BS Ghuman, Vice-Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala. Principal Dr Inderjit Kaur, welcomed him. The ceremony commenced with a prayer to the Almighty.

Prof Ghuman conferred degrees on graduate and post-graduate students and roll of honour was awarded to eight students. He also felicitated prizes to as many as 220 students. He congratulated the degree holders and prize winners.

The Principal read out the annual convocation report and said the college had always endeavoured to impart value-based education laced with academic excellence.
