Mother’s Day celebrations

Ludhiana: MGM Public School celebrated the day with fervour and joy. A special morning assembly was conducted to mark the importance of the day. Students gave speeches and recited poems for their mothers. Activities such as card making and photo frame making were conducted. A grand function was also organised in the KG wing, where mothers participated in various activities. Teachers also shared their thoughts and feelings on motherhood by presenting poems in different languages. 

BVM Sr Sec School

The school celebrated the day with great enthusiasm. Activities such as card-making, poem recitation, speech competition, and a group song took place. The programme commenced with a welcome speech. Various games were also organised. OP Sabarwal, Principal, Rajni Arora, felicitated the winner mothers and told students to be obedient, true, faithful to mothers.

Childhood Kindergarten

Childhood Kindergarten, Punjab Mata Nagar, celebrated the day in a grand way on the premises. All mothers were invited on the occasion. A special music and dance performance was given by Harpreet and her students from 'Shining Champs Music Academy' for mothers. Principal Mishneet Sharma congratulated the mothers and encouraged them to take out some time for themselves. She said being a mother was a great responsibility but it brings greater joy as well. 

Seminar on road safety

Ahmedgarh: Green Valley Public School organised a seminar on traffic awareness and safety rules. Traffic in charge Kulwant Singh was the chief guest. He made the students aware about traffic rules and road safety. He also encouraged students to obey rules. School Director Yash Bhushan Gupta welcomed all guests. oc

Fruit Day celebrated

It was a day with a difference for the little ones of Green Land Convent School, Dugri, when they celebrated 'Fruit Day'. The fun-filled programme was part of a novel method of familiarising the kindergarten children with different kinds of fruits and more importantly, making them understand the essence of fruits in our regular diet. Teachers advised the children to eat more fruits daily and the importance of its intake for physical and mental growth. All students brought variety of fruits that was first displayed and then cut to make a delicious fruit salad that was offered to the children.
