MBD group meets booksellers

Ludhiana: The MBD Publishing Group organised a cordial meet with the distributors of their books and booksellers at Radisson Blu Hotel MBD, Ludhiana, on Wednesday. Balwant Sharma, executive director, said the MBD Group has turned out to be a milestone in such diverse fields of education as science, arts, literature, mathematics, technical education and health and hygiene.

GMMSA Expo ends 

Garments Machinery Manufacturers & Suppliers Association Expo concluded here at Dana Mandi on Bahadurke Road. More than 62,000 people visited the exhibition. A closing ceremony was organised where the GMMSA Expo facilitated the exhibitors for their participation. 

FICO meets Centre govt official

FICO president Gurmeet Singh Kular met Sudhir Garg, IAS, Joint Secretary MSME Government of India, and discussed the problems faced by the MSMEs. The industrialists discussed that bicycle industry is the mother industry of Punjab which makes India the second largest manufacturers of world, where as China is the largest manufacturer of bicycles, but the gap between the manufacturing quantity was high. — TNS
