Martyrdom of Guru Teg Bahadur observed at city gurdwaras

Ludhiana, December 12

Martyrdom of Guru Teg Bahadur was observed across the city gurudwaras today. Shabad kirtan was recited at the gurudwaras and langar was also observed from the community kitchen. Akal takhat jathedar, Giani Harpreet addressed the gathering at Gurudwara Dukh Nivran Sahib.

Akal Takhat Jathedar, while addressing the media said the Kartarpur Corridor had been opened after several prayers and nobody should speak against it. “Devotees from this side will be able to go across the border and seek blessings from the guru so there is no harm in it, but will only radiate positivity,” he said.

He further said Akali Dal leaders had rectified their sins at the Akal Takhat. He further added that Parkash Singh Badal was awarded Fakhr-e-Qaum award by Akal Takhat and there was no such talks to roll it back. They have rectified their sins and in case there is any such move, it will be made public. — TNS
