Ludhiana recorded a facile victory over Fatehgarh Sahib by an innings and 108 runs in a match in the Inter-District (U-16) Cricket Tournament for Punjab Championship played here at GRD Academy on Hambran Road today.

Resuming their first innings at overnight score of 49 for 9, the visitors added two runs as their essay culminated at 51 runs.

Hosts Ludhiana declared their first innings at 193 for 2 after 43 overs in which the main contributors were Ankit Singh and Saksham Vij who made 79 and 46 runs, respectively. Trailing by 142 runs, Fatehgarh Sahib again failed in the second innings since they were bowled out for 34 runs in 21.4 overs.
