The third day of the counselling witnessed ‘house full’ for boys’ seats at meritorious school in Ludhiana. All 200 seats for boys have been filled.

A total of 473 seats out of 500 seats were filled by the end of the counselling on Saturday.

Among girls, medical stream has emerged as a favourite, as all 180 seats have been filled.

A total of 27 seats, eight in the non-medical stream and 19 in the commerce stream are left for girls.

Sumanpreet Kaur, who scored 60 marks in the entrance exam, opted for medical.

She said: “I want to prepare for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET) in these two years and secure an MBBS seat. I want to become a doctor.”

There are total 4500 (500 each) seats.

Bathinda leads in the admission process as all 500 seats were filled on the third day. Jalandhar on the other hand has 14 seats and Patiala 16 seats vacant. Out of 4,600 seats in Punjab, 2,939 seats were filled by the end of the counselling session on the third day.
