Organisers of the famous Kilaraipur Sports Fair have rescheduled the calendar by postponing the commencement of the event from February 22 to March 8.
Gyan Singh, president of the Grewal Sports Association, Suhavia Patti Kilaraipur, said the event would take place on March 8, 9 and 10 now, as it was expected, holding of bullock cart races would be allowed by then.
The Punjab Government has already approved the file seeking permission for holding the event and announced that the Act in this connection would be amended during the concluding phase of ensuing session.
