I-T Dept conducting survey to harass traders, says SAD leader

Traders and businessmen have constituted the “Business Bachao Morcha” to raise their voice against alleged harassment at the hands of various government agencies.

Chairing the meet, Gurdeep Singh Gosha, SAD leader said, “The Income-Tax, Labour Department, police and Municipal Corporation, among others, were harassing traders and business community. Even if we pay all the taxes in a transparent manner, officials concerned conduct raids and surveys to harass them. This should be stopped.”

He said businessmen were being treated as criminals which was unfortunate. Tarun Jain Bawa, Anand Sekri, Ajit Lakra and Sanjiv Chaudhry, among others, were also present on the occasion.
