Hues of patriotism take centre stage

Ludhiana: Over 40 schools collaborated to send Independence Day greetings and thank you cards to the Indian Armed Forces. In total over 36,500 cards were sent to bravehearts, especially the ones stationed at border in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.

Over 40 schools collaborated to send Independence Day greetings and thank you cards to the Indian Armed Forces. In total over 36,500 cards were sent to bravehearts, especially the ones stationed at border in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.

Senior officials and the management of schools, charitable institutions in Ludhiana visited a BSF border post to greet BSF jawans. Students of the Maa Sharda Group, Gurukul for girls among others sent cards and letters to jawans.

Students and teachers were invited to meet officers and jawans of the 103 Infantry Battalion at the Aaykar Bhawan, Ludhiana. Students were in jubilant mood as they met real heroes.

Through this initiative a spark of nationalism has been ignited in mind children who have sent cards to jawans.
