Harjot to lead Ludhiana squad

LUDHIANA: A student of Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, Harjot Singh, has been selected to lead the Ludhiana district baseball team in the Sixth Junior Punjab State Baseball Championship for Boys, to be held at Moga, on August 12 and 13.

A student of Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, Harjot Singh, has been selected to lead the Ludhiana district baseball team in the Sixth Junior Punjab State Baseball Championship for Boys, to be held at Moga, on August 12 and 13.

The Ludhiana District Baseball Association president, Harbir Singh Gill, said “In all, sixteen teams will take part in the two-day championship to be organised by the Moga District Baseball Association.”

List of players finalised for the championship includes Harjot Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Tanvir Singh, Ankit Deep Singh and Sukhdeep Singh from Guru Nanak International Public School; Ankit, Raj Kumar, Piyush and Abhishek Garg from BCM Senior Secondary School; Dinesh and Ankit Kumar of Teja Singh Swatanter Memorial School; Kamlesh and Abhishek Verma from SDM Public School; Ashwani Kumar and Abishal Singh of Government Senior Secondary School and Rajwinder Singh of Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School, Dholewal branch. — OSC
