GGNIMT signs MoU with Club Nirvana

LUDHIANA: The Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) has recently taken a few initiatives to boost the training and placement opportunities for its students.

The Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) has recently taken a few initiatives to boost the training and placement opportunities for its students.

The Department of Hotel Management of the institute has signed an MoU with Club Nirvana, a unit of Enchanted Woods Club Ltd, to enhance career opportunities for its students.

Gursharan Singh Narula, president, Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council (GKEC), Ludhiana, and Gurmukh Singh, HR Manager, Club Nirvana, signed the MoU. Addressing the media, Gurmukh Singh, HR Manager, Club Nirvana, said the move would augment the student expertise and bridge the skill deficit in by the industry.

Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT, said the MoU would ensure practical training and industry interface for grooming the students in accordance with the hospitality industry standards.

He said the MoU would enhance the technical knowledge and provide exposure to the budding hoteliers. Chhabra said an institute could impart theoretical knowledge to its students, but practical learning could only happen in the real-time work environment.
