Fun, nostalgia mark alumni meet at KLSD College

LUDHIANA: Exhilaration, cheer and excitement marked the alumni meet of the Kamla Lohtia SD College, Reunion 2018 as the alumni from the city and across the state gathered at their alma mater here.

Exhilaration, cheer and excitement marked the alumni meet of the Kamla Lohtia SD College, Reunion 2018 as the alumni from the city and across the state gathered at their alma mater here. Dharam Paul Jain, President, College Managing Committee and Madan Goyal, MD, King Exports were the guests of honour.

After the lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, the event marked a beginning with an address by principal Bimlesh Kumar Gupta who welcomed the alumni on their revisit to college after a long gap and stated that successful and virtuous settlement of the college alumni in various fields such as law, teaching, chartered accountants, taxation, entrepreneurship, business and banking has made the college and the teachers proud and added to the glory of the institution.

A few of the prominent alumni shared their everlasting memories from the years spent in college and whole heartedly accredited their success to the meticulous guidance of the teachers, along with knowledge and education gained from the college. A cultural bonanza with spectacular performance by old students in the form of dances, songs and fun games enlivened the scene.

More significantly, the bhangra performed by the alumni of the college made the whole event joyful and vibrant. The principal lauded the efforts of Bharat Dua, an alumnus of the college and president, KLSD Alumni Association (Regd) and Jaspreet Kaur, General Secretary, KLSD Alumni Association (Regd) for the successful organisation of the event.
