Ludhiana: Travel agent and owner of an immigration firm Nitish Ghai has been booked in a fresh FIR of travel fraud. With the registration of this fresh case, the FIR count against him has reached 28. The FIR was registered against him on a complaint of Navjot Singh, a resident of Batala. The complainant told the police that Ghai took Rs 30,500 from him for sending him abroad. But he failed to fulfil his promise. TNS

102 cases of illicit liquor seized

Ludhiana: The police recovered 102 cases of illicit liquor from a house in Moti Nagar. The accused has been identified as Rajesh Kumar Sharma, a resident of Jamalpur. The police said they received a tip-off that a huge stock of illicit liquor was stored in a house. TNS
