Doctors discuss refractive corrections

A continuing medical education (CME) on “Refractive Decoded” was held under the aegis of the Ludhiana Ophthalmological Society and Dhami Eye Care at the Hyatt Regency on Sunday.

The event was aimed to enhance the knowledge and build confidence in newer technologies and management of refractive corrections among the doctors.

The CME was attended by more than 100 ophthalmologists from Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh.

Dr Rohit Shetty from the Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore, was guest faculty. In his keynote address, Dr Shetty spoke in detail on the topic “Customised Lasik with Contoura Vision”.

Discussions on refractive surgeries were also held and speakers said the target age group of patients is 20-35 years.
