CTU inks pact with Primeasia varsity for knowledge exchange

CT University has inked a pact with Primeasia University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Charanjit S Channi, Chancellor, CT University; Manbir Singh, managing director of CT University; Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-Chancellor, CT University; and Prof Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor, Primeasia University.

Established in 2003, Primeasia University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of metropolis of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Hannan said: “The MoU is based on knowledge sharing where various student-expert exchange programmes will be organised. Workshops will also be conducted by experts under the MoU.”

Sadawarti said: “We will impart training to students and teachers for both long and short term programmes. Technical problems regarding theoretical aspects, identification and development of progression, articulation opportunities and research stays for academic staff from both universities will also be exchanged.”

Manbir Singh said: “We at CTU believe in creating a niche in the field of research-based education and this is what this collaboration will result into. This understanding pact will go a long way in the era of education based on research at higher levels.”
