Ludhiana: The department of Fine Arts of Guru Nanak International Public School, I-Block, BRS Nagar organised a "Fireless Cooking Competition" to check and enhance the culinary skills of the students. The young chefs displayed their talent by presenting numerous innovative 'diet dishes'. The excitement and enthusiasm of the participants was uncanny. The dishes were judged on the base of presentation, taste and innovativeness. 

Arshpreet shines in karate 

Punjab Tiger Ashihara Karate Organization (PTAKO) organised a National Karate Championship at Guru Nanak Stadium. Arshpreet Singh, a student of Guru Nanak Public School, Mullanpur, participated in the event and got the second position. The participants belonged to 40-45 kg weight category. Director Prabhjot Grewal and Principal Ravi Kant congratulated the winner. 

Humanity Olympiad organised 

Students of SDP School participated in International Humanity Olympiad 2018 conducted by Satyug Darshan Academy. The students participated in online written test on the topic - Moral and ethical values. Ten students from the school were selected among 1,000 shortlisted students. The school was awarded with the certificate of appreciation by the academy.

Tiny tots visit school for blind

Students of the primary section of DCM Presidency School visited the Vidyasagar Oswal Bhawan, the school for the blind. They interacted with them and learnt the values of life. They also distributed them eatables and stationary articles and experienced the joy of sharing and caring. Principal Rajni Kalra appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to be kind towards people as kindness is the most important virtue in a man’s life.
