City skaters dominate on Day 1 of championship

Ludhiana skaters dominated the proceedings on the opening day of the 31st Punjab State Roller Skating Championship being held at Leisure Valley Rink, Sarabha Nagar here on Monday.

Participants from Ludhiana emerged winners in most of the events held here today.

Around 430 participants from all over the state are taking part in different age groups in this championship being organised by the District Roller Skating Association, Ludhiana, under the aegis of the Punjab Roller Skating Association, with the help of Players Sports Club, Ludhiana.

TBS Gill, JS Dhaliwal, Inderjeet Singh and Sanjeev Ghai along with other organisers were present at the inaugural function.

Results

Quads (girls 5-7 years): Bishmanpreet Kaur (Ludhiana) first, Adwita Priyadarshi (Amritsar) second and Guneet Kaur (Patiala) third.

Quads (boys 5-7 years): Angadjeet Singh (Mohali) first, Mansehaj Singh (Mohali) second and Ishaanveer Singh (Patiala) third.

Quads (boys 7-9 years): Ekamjot Singh (Mohali) first, Arman Singh (Patiala) second and Sarthak Aggarwal (Ludhiana) third.

Quads (girls 7-9 years): Ishmanjot Kaur (Amritsar) first, Jannat Dua (Jalandhar) second and Kashish (Mohali) third.

Inline (boys 7-9 years): Samarbir Singh (Ludhiana) first, Rishit Sharma (Mohali) second and Himnish Garg (Sangrur) third.

Inline (girls 7- 9 years): Shaan Kaur (Ludhiana) first, Kritika Sharma (Bathinda) second and Mehreen Kaur (Mohali) third.

Quads (boys 9- 11 years): Sahibdeep Singh (Mohali) first, Vaibhav Jain (Ludhiana) second and Jaideep Singh (Patiala) third.

Quads (girls 9- 11 years): Vineet Kaur (Patiala) first, Niharika (Sangrur) second and Ridhi Sharma (Amritsar) third.

Inline (boys 9- 11 years): Keshvam Thapar (Ludhiana) first, Sehaj Harinder Singh (Amritsar) second and Ayush Singhora (Bathinda) third.

Inline (girls 9- 11 years): Armaan (Jalandhar) first, Preyasi (Amritsar) second and Anvi Kumar (Mohali) third.

10,000-m elimination (boys 14- 17 years): Arnav Gorya (Ludhiana) first, Bhavishay Bassi (Mohali) second) and Garv Chawla (Ludhiana) third.

10,000-m elimination (girls 14- 17 years): Kavya Sood (Ludhiana) first, Jasleen Kaur (Ludhiana) second and Kulnoor (Amritsar) third.

10,000-m elimination (boys above 17 years): Harshveer Singh (Ludhiana) first, Chahmeet Singh (Ludhiana) second and Abhinav Kumar (Jalandhar) third.

10,000-m elimination (girls above 17 years): Ashveen Kaur (Patiala) first.
