Ludhiana: Students of Nankana Sahib Public Senior Secondary School, Budhewa, brought laurels to school in the CBSE Class XII results declared on Thursday. Gurjot Kaur stood first in commerce with 93.2 per cent marks, followed by Amandeep Singh Garcha with 92.2 per cent. In non-medical, Simran Kaur bagged first position with 90 per cent. 

Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park

Bhavneet Singh stood first in the school by scoring 94per cent marks in science stream, followed by Muskan Dhiman with 93.4 per cent and Neetu Dhiman with 92.6 per cent marks. In commerce, Anmol stood first with 93 per cent marks, followed by Shivangi Sharma with 92.6 per cent marks and Muskan Kaur with 91.8 per cent marks, Gurleen Kaur remained with 91.4 per cent and Sukhman Kaur with 90.6 per cent marks. In arts, Harpeet Kaur stood first with 91 per cent, Gurleen came second with 89 per cent, followed by Shivangi with 88.2 per cent marks.

USPC Jain Public School

Preeti Mandola of medical stream outshone 236 students by scoring 96.2 per cent, followed by Aarzoo with 94.6 per cent and Prabhjot Kaur with 91.8 per cent. Sudhanshu Singh of non-medical stream topped with 95 per cent, followed by Vishal Maurya with 92.6 per cent , Rahul Pathak with 91.6 per cent, Ekam with 91.4 per cent, Muskan Sharma with 91 per cent and Bipanjot Kaur with 90.8 per cent. Shiwani Choudhary from commerce bagged 93.8 per cent, followed by Nimish Malhotra with 92.6 per cent and Harpinder Singh with 90.2 per cent. Princy Kukreti scored 92.8 per cent in arts stream.

Tagore International sr Sec School

Students of Tagore International Senior Secondary School, Sahnewal, proved their mettle in CBSE Class XII results. In commerce, Raviza Khurana and Divyansh Vashishta stood first with 96 per cent, followed by Karan Sharma and Ishant Sharma with 93.2 per cent and 90 per cent, respectively. In science, Ayushi Gupta topped with 96 per cent, followed by Harvinder Kaur with 93 per cent and Ayush Jain with 91per cent.

Kalgidhar Academy, Dugri  

Lakhvir Singh Hara, school manager,  informed that Ajaypartap Singh Chahil has topped in commerce with 95 per cent, followed by Gagandeep Kaur with 91 per cent.

Ryan International School

Viduti Bhatia stood first with 97.2per cent in commerce, Shivam Kumar bagged first position in humanities with 96.8 per cent and Anmolpreet stood first place with 96 per cent in non-medical.

New GMT Public School

Students of New GMT Public School brought laurels to school by scoring outstanding results. Himanshu Luthra got 98.5 per cent in commerce, Lucky got 94 per cent and Simran Narula from science secured 86per cent. 

Doraha Public School

Parkirt Singh of non-medical topped in the school with 93.6 per cent, Kashav Dhami topped in commerce by securing 90.4 per cent and Jasmine Kaur came first in medical with 86.6 per cent

Splash pool party 

Guys and Dolls preschool organised a splash pool party for their students. The celebratory music beats at the party made the event more delightful and the playstation echoed with their joyful laughter.

World Laughter Day

St Soldier Divine Public School, Golf Link, Hambran Road, celebrated the World Laughter Day today. Students came to the school wearing their best smiles. The children presented standup comedy, one minute mimicry and skits that left the audience in ripples of laughter. 

Investiture held

The investiture for the junior council of DPS, Khanna, for the academic session 2019-20 was organised today. The chairperson of the school, DS Bains, presided over the function and conferred the sashes and badges to the students. Taranveer Singh and Eknoor Kaur were chosen head boy head girl, respectively. Namam Tondon and Shranya Gupta were appointed deputy head boy and head girl, respectively.

Freshers’ party 

A freshers’ party was organised at Maya Davi Goel Public School to welcome the students of kindergarten. Students of LKG and UKG performed a welcome song and entertained the newcomers. Principal Kiranjit Kaur, along with the staff members, cut the cake to welcome the tiny tots. 

Guru Arjan Dev martyrdom

Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Doraha, celebrated the martyrdom of Guru Arjan Dev. The celebrations began with recitation of holy verses, followed by poems and shabad recitations. Students threw light on the life and teachings of Guru Arjun Dev highlighting his sacrifices to save the religion. TNS
