Activists of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), led by district president Mahesh Sharma, burnt an effigy of the Left party government in Kerala charging the ruling dispensation with making attempts to destabilise the nation.

They said increasing incidents of lawlessness and attacks on workers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Kerala were an ample proof that the Left parties were frustrated with the growing popularity of the NDA government, led by Narendra Modi.

Addressing protesting workers, the BJP district president, Ravinder Arora, and Mahesh Sharma, said the RSS and the Saffron party cadres would not be cowed down by violent attacks by goons of the Kerala government. They said by resorting to killings of RSS workers, the Left parties were trying to add fuel to the fire of communalism in the country. “The nefarious designs of Left parties are indirectly aimed at putting a stop to forward strides by the Modi government, in which they will never succeed,” they added.

Leaders of the BJP and the BJYM gave a call to the party cadres to stand united and give a befitting reply to the anti-national acts of the Left parties in general and the Kerala government in particular.

Others present at the occasion were Pushpinder Singal, Parminder Mehta, Rajneesh Dhiman, Arun Goel, Daman Kapoor, Rajan, Ravi Batra, Puneet Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Deepak Goyal, Tarun Jain, Bharat Jethi, Balwinder Binder, Vikram Khaira, Mandeep Marwaja, Ashwani Lalli, Anmol Sandhu and Raj Kumar Manu.
