BCA Semester-II results

Ludhiana: Students of Devki Devi Jain Memorial College for Women have brought laurels to the college by performing well in the examination of BCA Sem-II, results of which were announced by Panjab University, Chandigarh, on July 10. Aprajita Kumari bagged third position in the district and first in the college with 82 per cent. Jyoti secured seventh position in the district and second in the college with 79.25 per cent. Janvi Tondon bagged ninth position in the district and third in the college with 78.75 per cent marks.

SDP College for Women

It is a matter of pride that Nishu, a student of SDP College for Women, has secured seventh rank in the university and second in the district in BCA Sem- II by obtaining 333/400 marks (83.25 per cent). SDP college for Women scored 100 per cent result in BCA Sem-II, IV and VI.

Master Tara Singh Memorial College

Students of BCA Sem-II of Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women have brought laurels to the college by showing an excellent performance in May 2019 examinations. Simran Chauhan bagged second position in the university by securing 85 per cent marks. 

AS College for Women, Khanna

Khanna: Komal Vij of AS College for Women stood first in the college by securing 80.50 per cent, followed by Anita Kumari with 78.25 per cent and Kamalvir Kaur with 74 per cent. The aggregate pass percentage of the college for BCA Sem-VI is 100 per cent. Rajeev Rai Mehta president of AS High School Trust and Management Society, Khanna, along with the members of management of AS College for Women and principal Meenu Sharma, congratulated the achievers and their parents. population awareness drive 

The NCC cadets of GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, belonging to 3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC, Ludhiana, conducted an awareness drive on pollution and population by organising a seminar and staging a nukkad natak. Cadets Ravinder Kaur and Jasnoor Singh touched various aspects of the issues and suggested practical solutions to tackle the same. TNS

Camp at Dalhousie 

Khanna: The Gulzar Group of Institutes organised a camp at Dalhousie with the objective to provide knowledge to students about various survey equipment used to measure distance, angles, bearings, contours of any plane and hilly site. Activities such as site checking of roads and levelling, topography mapping were also explained. Students were informed about various experiments to be performed. OC
