AAP protests ‘anti-people’ policies of govt

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Malwa Zone – 2 volunteers today carried out protest from Gulmor Hotel towards the Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner’s office against anti-people policies of the Central and state government.

AAP core committee chairman, Budh Ram said, “The performance of Capt Amarinder Singh led government is worst than the previous SAD-BJP government.” He said the chief minister has failed to fulfill his promises.

“The government has cheated the people of the state. The Congress government is in deep slumber. Farmers and teachers among others have been are forced to come on the roads to get their rights.”

Ram added that they would start a campaign to tell people of the state how the Delhi government led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal brought reforms,” he said.

MLA Aman Arora said, “The government should hold the Vidhan Sabha Assembly session for at least 15 days. It seems the government is afraid to face the Opposition in the Assembly as it has been called for just three days.”

MP Sadhu Singh said, “The Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed to control inflation. The people will teach a lesson to the SAD-BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.”

Aam Aadmi Party leaders also submitted a memorandum to Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Agrawal.
