40th alumni meet at GNDEC

LUDHIANA: Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), Ludhiana, organised its 40th Alumni Meet on the college premises. More than 60 alumni of the 1975-1979 batch participated in the event.

Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), Ludhiana, organised its 40th Alumni Meet on the college premises. More than 60 alumni of the 1975-1979 batch participated in the event.

Principal Sehijpal Singh welcomed the alumni and the members of Eco-Sikh Foundation, who 550 trees on the college premises to mark the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak.

The meet started with ‘shabad gaayan’ followed by a ‘vaar’. Number of alumni also participated in various cultural items making the occasion even more colourful and memorable.

Over 150 students of final year also participated in the meet as well as in tree plantation drive. Many old students shared their professional experiences with students and guided them about career planning and answered the queries of the students related to job opportunities.
