320 students awarded degrees

Ramgarhia Girls College, Miller Ganj, Ludhiana, organised an annual convocation on Tuesday.

 Prof Arun Kumar Grover, vice-chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh, presided over the event as a chief guest along with other distinguished guests. 

In total 320 students were conferred degrees and roll of honour was awarded to 27 students. Three students of MA (Music Vocal) were honoured for bagging university positions in May 2017.

 13 students were awarded for their outstanding performances at various inter-varsity and national level sports championships. 

V-C Prof Grover emphasised on women empowerment and said that educated women reflect a developed society which is essential for a nation like India.
