25 youth attend job fair

A job drive was organised at the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) on January 21 to enable Ola and Food Panda to interview and select youth as per their requirement. About 25 candidates appeared for the same, and now keeping in view the weather conditions, the youth can get themselves registered till January 23.

The DBEE Deputy CEO Navdeep Singh said bad weather forced many aspirants to stay indoors and they could not attend the drive yesterday, and now the youth can get themselves registered till January 23.

He said any person who had completed Class XII, has a smart phone, a bike, and a valid driving licence can approach the DBEE. The  salary is based on the app system, which usually goes up to Rs 10,000-15,000  per month, he added. — TNS
