20 get training in food processing

LUDHIANA: The Department of Food Science and Technology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organised a training course on ‘Fruit and Vegetable Processing’ under the aegis of Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna (RKVY) project.

The Department of Food Science and Technology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organised a training course on ‘Fruit and Vegetable Processing’ under the aegis of Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna (RKVY) project. A total of 20 participants attended this course.

Dr Poonam A Sachdev, Head of the Department as well as Course Coordinator, welcomed the trainees and familiarised them with the Food Industry Business Incubation Centre and the departmental facilities.

She informed the trainees about the technology for processing of fruits and vegetables at household level.
