Khanna Police arrested two persons and recovered 320 gm of heroin from their possession. The arrested have been identified as Arbaz Khan, alias, Arbaz son of Aziz Ahmed Khan and Mehar Beg, alias, Mehar, both residents of New Delhi. SSP Khanna Dhruv Dahiya said Khanna Police led by Manjit Singh PPS, DSP, Sub-Inspector Labh Singh Narcotic Cell Khanna and ASI Tarwinder Singh CIA Khanna were patrolling on the Amloh Road Khanna. They witnessed two boys coming from the side of Shiv Mandir (Military Ground) on foot. 

The police party stopped them for checking. During questioning, and on their frisking the police party recovered 270 gram of heroin from Arbaz Khan, alis, Arbaz and 50 gms of heroin from Mehar Beg, alis, Mehar. A case under section 21, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered after arresting the accused. .

SSP said in another incident, a police party of CIA Khanna led by Baljinder Singh SHO/Sadar Khanna had laid a naka near Libra village for conducting the checking of suspected vehicles/persons. During checking, two persons were seen coming from the Libra Bus Stand. On the suspicion, police party stopped them for checking purpose who were identified as Manoj Kumar a resident of Bhulath, and Jaswinder Singh a resident of Kapurthala. 

On their frisking, 98 injections of Avil and 98 injections of Rexogesic (Total 196 intoxicant injections) were recovered. A case under Section 22, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the alleged accused, said SSP.
