MANDI AHMEDGARH: Twelve couples from various sections of the society tied knots during a function organised by the Samaye Sewa Society at Ram Talayee at Chhapar village.

Twelve couples from various sections of the society tied knots during a function organised by the Samaye Sewa Society at Ram Talayee at Chhapar village.

Jatinder Sharma Happy presided over the sixteenth mass marriage event held under the supervision of chairman Vicky Sharma. The organisers gifted jewellery and articles of daily need to the newly-wed couples.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP from Sangrur Bhagwant Maan, Lok Insaaf Party (LIP) Legislator Simarjit Singh Bains, Ahmedgarh Municipal Council president Suraaj Mohammad, Indian Overseas Congress UK president Kamal Dhaliwal, former Minister Balbir Singh Ghunas, former legislator Iqbal Singh Jhoondan, former MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali, Ludhiana (Rural) SSP Varinderjit Singh Brar and Jagraon SP Gurdeep Singh blessed the couples.
