As Prashant Kaul waited every evening to pick up his wife after work, he would sit in his car and write on his laptop till both went home together. The result – a love story called It’s Got To Be Love. Now how romantic is that!

Chandigarh-based Prashant is a zonal HR manager with a financial firm. But he always wished to do something different. As to fill the hour gap between his office closing time and his wife’s, he started penning a story that took shape of the novel. And, no co-incidence is this that the heroine of the novel Vaani is somewhat modelled after his wife. Add the thrill angle, and the book’s protagonist Dev’s dreams come true.

A movie buff, apart from being an avid reader, Prashant admits that the plot has the making of a movie and that’s what he dreams of too. In fact, he reviews the films and has a fan base on social media. Among the books, When I Lost You by Kelly Rimmer, The Grownup by Gillian Flynn, Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Spark and Inferno by Dan Brown — are some of his favourites. 

It took him two years to complete the book, and again, Prashant is grateful to his wife for the umpteenth reads before it took the final shape. In fact, it is the second edition because the first batch of 500 is completely sold out. Published by Notion Press, this some 250 pages novel is available at Rs 250.
