When Narayani dived into the Ganga

Popular actress Narayani Shastri is all set to make a comeback on TV with the show Rishton Ka Chakravyuh. The actress will be seen playing Satrupa, a rather powerful and influential woman. The makers recently wrapped up a rather extensive shoot schedule in Varanasi where a large portion of the show is based. Amidst the heat, while shooting in the hectic outdoor schedule, post pack-up Narayani surprised everyone present around her by an impromptu dive in the Ganga!

“The heat really gets to us while shooting outdoors and luckily one of the days, I got done earlier and so, after a quick change, I dived into the Ganga. I still remember the cool water and how surreal that whole experience was. The crew was worried at first, but when they saw me emerge out of the water they were all a happy lot.”
