I actually prefer shows that don’t require me to work outside Mumbai. The whole day while working you usually don’t get time for long talks, so while sitting in the car, usually I talk to my family. It refreshes me completely.

While travelling, I don’t like to sleep, so I read. If in case I am feeling too sleepy, then I talk to my family or friends on the phone.

No more cribbing

I used to crib a lot about Mumbai traffic but then I realised it is only adding to my suffering. I decided to use that time for sleeping. I always carry an eye mask and earplugs.

We had to shoot at Vasai or Naigaon. So, it used to be chaotic because, we would have long hours of shoot and then travel. In such situations, I used to drive and listen to music.

Whenever I get stuck in traffic, I make a few calls. I carry my iPad on which I watch movies. I binge-watch my favourite shows on Netflix. Finished watching Money Heist while travelling and it was great.

When I’m driving, I am always listening to music from the 90s. The songs, which I have grown up listening to. And if my driver is driving, then I watch Netflix or read books. I call my mom and we talk for hours and hours.
