Salman Khan to romance Alia Bhatt makes Twitter crazy; Alia’s baby pictures go viral

Twitterati never hides its true feelings. Be it about songs, music, actors and, now, even about the cast of a movie. 

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced that he would be working with actors Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt for an epic love story. 

Earlier, social media was excited about Salman re-uniting with Sanjay after a gap of 20 years. But, on Wednesday when they announced that Salman would be paired opposite Alia, Twitter had different views about it. 

While the fans are still speculating about the story of the film and the 30-year age gap between the two, Twitter called it an unusual pairing for a love story. 

Not only this, social media dug out an old picture of the 53-year-old actor with baby Alia. The pairing for Salman and Alia literally broke the internet. 

Twitter reactions:

One said: “Who would've thought they will work together as a lead pair. #Inshallah”.

Another added: “looks like they've broken the bollywood internet with the announcement #Inshallah”.

One tweeted: “#Me: Bhai sunna hai Alia aur salman saath movie krne ja rhe?#Ranbir”. 

Fan said: “I mean i hope Salman is playing Alia's uncle or father because them being romantic leads is so...”

The film also marks Bhatt's first collaboration with both Khan and Bhansali.

The 53-year-old actor was last seen working with Sanjay in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ in 1999 opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn.Khan also made a cameo in Bhansali's "Saawariya", which launched Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.
