Chandigarh, March 14

After making her debut in Hollywood opposite Vin Diesel in ‘XXX: Return of Xander Cage’, B-town diva Deepika Padukone has just been growing as a performer.

The 33-year-old actress has finally unveiled her wax statue in Madame Tussauds at London.

Deepika was accompanied by her husband Ranveer Singh and her parents Prakash Padukone and Ujjala. Her in-laws also graced the event.

DeePee's wax statue is dressed in a cape lehenga in champagne- coloured Sabyasachi Mukherjee creation with a thin diamond and emerald necklace, which the actress wore for IIFA Awards in 2016.

Deepika's wax statue is just as stunning as her.

DP shared pictures from the event with her statue that went viral in seconds.

During a live session on Facebook, Deepika said: "It's an amazing feeling, to be honest. It's fun and exciting. And in a way, I think I feel a lot of gratitude as well when you give back to your fans..."

Standing really close to the statue, Deepika’s husband, Ranveer asked: “Can I take her home?”

To which, DeePee replied:  “Whenever you're here, shooting for 83 and you miss me too much, you can come here”.

The wax statue definitely symbolises her success as an actor on a global scale.

On the work front, DP is preparing for her next film, ‘Chappak’, directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film is based on the life of acid-attack survivor, Laxmi Aggarwal.
