Go Bananas

Go Bananas kids proudly announces its summer camp as also invites all age groups. There’s theatre for kids, creative arts, freestyle dance, environmental education, pottery, adventure activities, film making and just in case anything has been left out, “much more” will take care of it.

Tiny Feet, Giant Leaps

The mom and child centre is offering unique workshops for kids of the tri-city this summer. Get spoilt for choice with their almost customised blend of creativity, pottery, art, dance, science experiments, splash pool and pretend play. Learn the craft of stories, role play, games, songs in Cock-a-Doodle-Doo workshop open for 4 years plus. Lets Get Dirty for those aged four and above let’s them get creative as well with clay and pottery. Moving on, there’s Peek-a-Boo, a fun class focuses on sensory and motor activities. Crazy Carnival for those five and above lets them get as crazy as creative with clay modeling, crafts from recycled materials. There’s a dance workshop in contemporary ballet and lyrical dance forms for kids between 7 to 12 by Sukhmani Singh, UK- based trained dancer. And yes, there’s Global Cruise, that lets the little ones discover Spain, Egypt and Japan through language, songs, art, cooking and general knowledge.

Dates, time and venue: Starting May 16 to June 26. Two hour classes each with several different timings spread from 11 am to 5.30 pm. House no.11, Sector 8A, Chandigarh.

Tagore Theatre Society

They mean theatre and they don’t have their activities mixed up! Department of Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh and Tagore Theatre Society will conduct theatre workshops for children of Tricity in the age group of 6 to 12 years.

Date, time, venue: June 1 to June 30, 9 am to 11 am, at Tagore Theatre-18 and at different Community Centres in the city.

We summer workshop

For those who’ve admired their group shows, will probably like to learn a thing or two. WE, a group of contemporary women artists, invites registrations for 10 day summer camps in painting, art & craft, flower making, classical dance for different age groups.

Date, time, venue: Starting June 1 at Punjab Kala Bhavan—16, Chandigarh.

Chandigarh SahityaAkademi

Do you want to learn to write a thing or two? Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi in association with T.S. Central State Library is organising a free summer workshop for children, which included literary as well as fun session for children.

Date, time, venue: May 25 to June 5, 10.30 am to 1 pm, at T.S.Central State Library-17, Chandigarh.

Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi

The Akademi will be hosting a month long children’s theatre workshop and play production to be conducted by eminent children theatre exponents. Each participant will be awarded a certificate.

Date, time, venue: June 7 to July 7, 9 am to 1 pm at CSNA Hall, State Library-34, Chandigarh.

Pitara For Kids

Here’s your chance at ‘InnoARTive’ summer camp with pottery, art and craft, no fire cooking, dance, splash pool and salon fun incorporated into one. Learn to make book shelves, pots and chocolate boxes in the art and craft segment.

Date, time, venue: June 1 to June 15, 9.30 am to 11.30 am at Tulips World School, Sector 7, Panchkula.
