How does it feel to enter B-town after a successful stint on the small screen?

It’s an honour and a moment of pride to be a part of such an amazing project. TV and films are entirely different, and I enjoy working for both the mediums. It’s definitely a dream that will be turning true. Honestly, I never thought films would happen, but now that it’s happening I am on the cloud nine.

What is your character in the film?

I am playing Avani, who is a happy-go-lucky girl. She is simple and finds happiness in small things. Her aim is to settle with someone efficient. But her true colours will come out as the film progresses and that’s the catch.

How did you prepare for this role?

I am a movie buff. I love watching good cinema. Preparing for this role wasn’t a difficult task; I watched a few scenes from films and that’s how I prepared for it.

How do you plan your acting journey?

I am hungry for good work, no matter what medium it is. If there’s something good on television, I’d choose that and if there’s a good movie script, I’ll be more than happy to do it.

Did your family support you in this profession?

My father is from an Army background; he never wanted me to do this. My mother took my side when I told her that I wanted to try my luck in the tinsel town. She managed to make my father agree. But now, they completely support me.

Any message for your fans?

I would thank them from the bottom of my heart for loving and appreciating my work.
